From the colonaded streets to the plazas to the amphitheatres and markets, you will be able to relive the Greco Roman era! Continue your visit in the afternoon with a short stop at the 12 century Ajloun Castle! Built by one of Saladdin's generals, it played an important role in defending the city against the Crusaders. Get transformed to a mediteranean like countryside! Enjoy the north with its mountains and breath taking sceneries! Enjoy different hikes taking you all the way through the Prophet trail to Tel Mar Elias Umm Qais also known as Gadara is 110 km north of Amman.
